Rupert is a former detective with the Metropolitan Police Specialist Operations Command (Criminal Intelligence and Organised Crime) at New Scotland Yard, working on major investigations involving surveillance and intelligence operations. After leaving the Police Service in 1990, Rupert worked in corporate contingency planning and crisis management positions, establishing and managing crisis response teams for several special risks insurers including Ace Europe, AIG, Catlin, Markel, Munich Re., Novae, QBE, Talbot and MS Amlin, principally focusing on Security and Crisis Management, Kidnap & Ransom, Product Contamination, Terrorism, Piracy and Cybercrime.

Erika Koutrakis
Director
Erika has led high-stakes security operations and intelligence programs for Fortune 100 companies and international stakeholders operating in volatile regions. With a background spanning counterterrorism advisory work for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, program guidance for the Harvard School of Public Health, and executive leadership at Pinkerton, Erika delivers strategic clarity and operational leadership in crisis response, workplace violence prevention, and geopolitical risk. She holds a degree in Foreign Policy and Security Studies, equipping her with the analytical and diplomatic skills to navigate complex threat environments.

Gareth Sephton
Director
Gareth is a results-driven operations executive with a deep background in corporate intelligence, security, and risk management. As a key member of the leadership team at Response24, he oversees global operations and ensures cross-functional alignment across security, crisis response, and client services. He first joined the security and intelligence sector in 2010, bringing more than a decade of experience before stepping into operational leadership in 2018 as Head of Political Risk at Response24. In his current role, Gareth focuses on strategy execution, operational scalability, and building resilient systems capable of managing high-stakes challenges across jurisdictions.

Chris Holt MBE
Non-Executive Director
A former commissioned officer in the Royal Engineers, Chris served predominantly in counter-terrorism roles including bomb disposal tours in the UK, Balkans and Iraq. He is an entrepreneur, malicious risk advisor, insurance specialist and technology advocate, widely recognised for his work relating to Political Violence, Terrorism, Kidnap & Ransom and Cybercrime from both an insurance and advisory perspective; and has developed a number of award-winning insurance products and technology platforms.
